Bridget is sad to hear the wedding has been moved up and retreats quietly upstairs. Dante follows and confesses he wants to call the wedding off. Bridget asks him not to. When they go back downstairs Bridget makes a touching toast to Felicia and Dante, almost a goodbye. Felicia thanks Stephanie for bringing her back to life. Brooke tries to calm Nick down and tells him that he is her future, Ridge is her past.

Stephanie confronts Nick about taking advantage of Taylor – getting her to sell her shares of stock to Nick and Stephen. Jackie enters and Stephanie reveals that Stephen has also slept with Taylor. Jackie can’t believe this information. Stephanie urges Jackie and Nick that if they want to help Brooke they need to get rid of Stephen. Eric tries to give his blessing to Felicia but he’s not sure if Dante is the right man for her. Later, Bridget visits Felicia and asks her to slow things down. Brooke remembers her childhood and how Stephen wasn’t there for her and her family. An emotional Brooke asks Stephen to leave her alone.

Stephen and Jackie discuss ways to stop Stephanie from getting her claws in Brooke, and then decide to go to the press conference. While at the press conference, Jackie calls Nick to inform him to watch it on the television. The Forrester Creations press conference is underway and Brooke believes that it is just to announce Ridge’s recovery. Stephanie plays a tribute to Brooke and shocks everyone by saying she will resign and wants Brooke to be the new CEO.

To show her appreciation of Brooke and how she has helped Ridge, Stephanie decides to make Brooke the new CEO of Forrester Creations. Ridge, Thorne and Eric are shocked to hear the news but they are supportive and can’t wait to surprise Brooke with the news in a press conference in front of everyone. Ridge credits his improvement to R.J. and Brooke. Jackie offers Brooke to come on board at Jackie M and help them globalize it.

Brooke tells Stephanie she loves Nick but she’s willing to help Ridge get better. Jackie confronts Stephanie and tells her to stop meddling with Brooke and Nick’s relationship. Brooke tries to assure Nick that her future is with him, not Ridge. Stephanie begs Ridge for his forgiveness.

The family gathers in hopes that Brooke can make Ridge take a turn for the better. Stephanie apologizes again to Ridge because she feels that it is her fault that he is laying there. With the help of Brooke’s voice, Ridge wakes up. Stephanie tries to make good to Brooke. Jackie is upset that Brooke rushed back to Los Angeles and cut her trip short with Nick. Jackie tells Stephen that she hopes that this doesn’t affect Nick’s relationship with Brooke.

Brooke and Nick agree to go back to Los Angeles with Stephanie. When Brooke arrives by Ridge’s bedside, she’s affected by seeing Ridge just laying there. Dante tries to talk to Felicia about their kiss but Dino’s cries distract her. Eric tells Stephen how happy he is that Brooke came home to help Ridge. Stephen is still skeptical of Ridge’s involvement with Brooke.

Stephanie urges Brooke to return to Los Angeles with her to help Ridge. Jackie and Stephen discuss their family situations. Dante and Felicia tease and flirt with one another and it leads to a kiss. The family worries as there is no change in Ridge’s condition.

While on vacation, Brooke gets the feeling something is wrong. Nick tries to calm her and tell her its all in her head. Brooke listens to her voicemail from Stephanie but disregards it. Thomas visits with Ridge (who is still unconscious) in the hospital. Stephanie tries Brooke again but Brooke thinks it has to do with business and hangs up on her. Stephanie visits Stephen in hopes that he’ll help in contacting Brooke. Stephen seems less than thrilled to help Stephanie.
